Using the website

How do I change my email or password?
You can change your password by logging into the Investors’ Chronicle and clicking on my account then my details. Under log in details section on this form, there is a link to reset password from there please follow the instructions on screen.
How do I sign up to Investors’ Chronicle's editorial emails?
Once logged into the Investors’ Chronicle website, you can change your e-mail preferences by clicking on my account then my details. While in this page you can also set your e-mail and marketing preferences. Once you have amended your settings, scroll down and click 'Save'.
How can I change my screen name?
By changing your screen name, you can add comments to articles without people seeing your e-mail address. If you would like to change your screen name, please log in to the Investors’ Chronicle website and my account then my details. It's on this page that you can change your screen name. Any comments you post will be attributed to your screen name. Screen names containing inappropriate language will be rejected.
How can I delete a portfolio?
You can quickly and easily delete any unwanted portfolios you have previously set up. Please log in to the Investors’ Chronicle website and click on 'My Portfolio'. It's within this page that you can delete any portfolio that you no longer wish to use.
Why can I only add UK equity companies to my portfolio?
Investors’ Chronicle only offers access to companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. These companies are mostly UK companies but you may also come across a few non-UK companies listed. Our portfolio data comes through from a third party company and, at this time, this is the only data we publish.
Some of the articles on the website do not make it to the print edition. Why not?
While we publish current stories to the website as the week progresses, we select only the most relevant news and articles for the printed magazine. If you feel that you would benefit from upgrading to a package that offers online access, please click here for your upgrade options, or call our customer services team (details at the top of this page).

Magazine delivery enquiries

The delivery of my print magazine is late. What can you do to help me?
From time to time, inevitable delays to Royal Mail can occur. All magazines are labelled as 'time sensitive' and so we hope that these do arrive when they should. If, however, your printed magazine has been delayed, you can read or download the latest digital version of the magazine . Each new issue is available to read every Thursday at 6pm. If your printed magazine has been delayed repeatedly, please get in touch with our Customer Services Team.
I subscribed, but haven't received a copy yet - why not?
Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery of your first subscription copy. If you've still not received your first issue, please contact our Customer Services Team who will be able to help.
I am moving house. How do I change my address?
You can change your address by logging into the Investors’ Chronicle website and clicking on 'My Account' and selecting 'Delivery Address' from the drop-down menu. Alternatively you can contact our Customer Services Team. Please note we do need 1 weeks' notice to guarantee that your address can be changed in time for your move date.

General subscription enquiries

When does my subscription expire?
If you pay by Direct Debit, your subscription will continue until you ask us to stop sending the magazine. If you pay by cheque, credit or debit card, you will find your subscription end date by clicking on 'My Account' and selecting 'My Subscription' from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can also find this information on the letter confirming your subscription and on your renewal letters. Please note, unless you cancel your subscription before we have started providing any part of it to you (in which case we will provide you with a full refund), you will only be able to cancel your subscription at the end of your current subscription period. Why are you writing to me before my subscription has ended?
We will send you renewal notifications if you pay by credit card, debit card or cheque. To ensure that you are able to renew your subscription in time to guarantee an uninterrupted service, we will send these renewal letters to you before the end of your subscription. If you do not wish to receive these letters, why not consider renewing by Direct Debit? Your payment will be taken on a regular basis and your subscription will continue unless you tell us otherwise.
I am moving house. How do I change my address?

Accessing the magazine App
If you are Print + Digital subscriber or a Digital subscriber the app comes included as part of your package. The latest issue will be available to download by the latest every Friday morning.

Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Once an issue is downloaded it's available for offline use.
Is the app available outside the UK?
Yes, however if you're a UK user accessing the app abroad, please be aware of any roaming charges your service provider may have.

I already subscribe to the print edition of Investors’ Chronicle, how much will it cost me to get access to the app?
To upgrade your print subscription to a print + digital subscription, depending on how far you are in your subscription, the upgrade fee will be prorated across the rest of your term. To view your upgrade options, please click here.
How long does it take to download?
Download time will depend on the strength of your internet connection. However, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
